Fontana maintains a full schedule of activities and fun throughout all four seasons for its guests. Every day has a full plate of fun and excitement anywhere you like. Whether its crafting and educational classes at the Outdoor Programs Center, horseback riding, white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, or anything else you might think of to do in the mountains, we have it. Review the Village bulletin when you check in for everything planned by our staff during your visit.

When you are ready for the water, head down to our Marina. The Marina maintains a full fleet of water craft rentals and the toys to go with them. The championship disc golf course is open year round and the Stone Creek Pool and Lazy River is the place to catch some rays and swim-time all summer long.

The day-trip excursions are almost endless with white water rafting at Nantahala Outdoor Center, Harrah's Casino on the Cherokee Reservation, golfing at Sequoyah National, artisan shopping at the Stecoah Valley Center and much, much more.
