Memorial Day Weekend

Graham County’s First Annual Native Azalea Festival

FRIDAY, JUNE 15th. Guided HIKES to Hooper Bald to view the Native Azaleas. SATURDAY, JUNE 16th. Food, Arts, Crafts, Antique Booths, and Kids Activities on the Court House Square  10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Special Awards Presentation and Music will start at 6:00 P.M. Fourth of July Celebration

Join us in celebrating everything that makes America the great nation that she is. There will be fireworks, field and water games, hometown parade, a BBQ cookout and much, much more. July 7

ATC Presents: Kill the Dam Invasives Workday

Join the Appalachian Trail Conservancy for a big work day to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the National Trails System Act! Work to protect native species in the Southern Appalachians by removing the invasive species from both sides of the Fontana Dam, where the National Forests meets the National Park. Volunteer work be positioned in multiple locations along the A.T. to make the greatest impact. This event is suitable for experienced trail maintainers as well as beginners and is supported by REI, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TVA, and the USFS.

Fall Hike Week

Our Fall Hike Week itinerary includes guided hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as well as many other scheduled events. Join other guests for an assortment of evening lectures and programs. Contact our Outdoors Program for more information.

 


November 22-25

Thanksgiving Family Festivities

Bring the family to the Smokies for endless fun, entertainment, and a classic Thanksgiving feast at the Mountview Restaurant. We will have guided hikes, square dancing, tree trimming, a turkey shoot, and much more!

New Years Eve Celebration
