Randy Flack: This local musician out of Asheville is a Fontana favorite. He brings talent from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s withy styling’s such as Willie Nelson, John Denver and Sam Cooke. Wildwood Grill Porch from 8pm - 11pm.

Logan Murrell: Logan is back for her third year of performances on the Wildwood Grill porch. This Fontana Favorite will play smooth melodies from her two albums as well as covers from various soft rock artists. Wildwood Grill Porch from 8pm - 11pm.

Larry Patton: Larry brings soul into every song he plays. With roots in Texas Soul and Blues, he highlights artists such as ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Wildwood Grill Porch from 8pm - 11pm.

Asheville Gentlemen: As we wrap up a Time to Remember Month, join us in the Events Hall at Fontana Village and bring the 40's to life. The "Asheville Gentlemen", a 7 piece Swing Band, will perform live in the Events Hall from 7pm – 9pm.

May 30
Birds of Prey Program: Michael Skinner will be here showcasing Birds of Prey from across America. There will even be a Bald Eagle. There will also be interaction with volunteers flying the birds. Program will be held on the Softball Field from 6pm - 8pm.

A Time To Remember
A Month Long Appalachian History Presentation
May 1 - May 31


A celebration to honor the people of Western North Carolina who gave up their homes, land and way of life so that World War II could be won. Hosted by Fontana Village Resort, The Proctor Revival Organization and GREAT (Graham Revitalization Economic Action Team). As we wrap up a Time to Remember month, join us in the dance hall at Fontana Village Resort on May 25th, 2013 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and and bring the 50's to life. The "Asheville Gentlemen" a 7 piece Swing Band will be performing. They will be joined by the Kennesaw State University Swing Dance Association on Sat. night. Join in the fun by taking part in beginners swing dance instruction both Fri. and Sat. prior to the Asheville Gentlemen. Friday's schedulewill be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm with instuction and cd's.

Memorial Day Weekend Summer Kick-Off

Elderly Brothers: As one of the very few Mountain Beach Music bands, the Elderly Brothers are truly something special. Caribbean Cowboys: The Mountains only true Tropical Troubadour. Caribbean styles such as Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley and Zach Brown. Wildwood Sundeck from 8pm-11pm or Events Hall in case of rain.

Independence Day Celebration
June 28 - July 7


A weeklong celebration of everything that made America the great nation that she is. Cookouts, live entertainment, field games, parties and much, much more. Experience the best fireworks ever on the Village Green. Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm.

A favorite from Knoxville, Tennessee. They play a mix of Classic Rock & Roll with Blues. Events Hall from 9pm – 1am.

July 5
My Highway:
Join in on the Independence Weekend festivities with this local favorite out of Robbinsville, NC. They play a wide range of music from country classics to new age Southern Rock. Wildwood Sundeck from 8pm – 11pm or Wildwood Grill Porch in case of rain.

Mardi Gras Kings:
You will be taken down to Bourbon St. where a wide range of music is played, but every song has the N’awlins influence. Wildwood Sundeck from 8pm - 11pm or Events Hall in case of rain.

Tailgate Revolver:

Fontana Ramblers:
Local band featuring square dance calling and true Appalachian musicianship. Events Hall from 8pm - 10:30pm.

The Dam Race 2013
5K & 10K Foot Racing At Fontana Dam
August 24


Compete with other racers in 5K and 10K races along the shores of the historic Little Tennesee River below Fontana Dam in the Great Smoky Mountains on a relatively flat course. Races will be bracketed in 5 year divisions for both male and female participants. A “One Mile Fun Run” will be available for all ages. Enjoy a full day of outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, zipline canopy tours, hiking, boating and everything else the Smokies have to offer. Relax in the evening at Fontana Village with dinner and live music.

LakeAlooza Party On Fontana Lake with Fireworks

Our fourth annual LakeAlooza Lake Party on Fontana Lake. Live music on the docks of the Marina on Saturday afternoon Join us Saturday night August 31st for live entertainment in the Recreation Hall and fireworks on the Green.
