4:00 pm George Masa Documentary. Learn about the mysterious life of George Masa as he portrayed the Appalachian area with his phenomenal photography which led to the dedication of the Smoky Mountains National Park. Runtime is 1.5 hours. Meet in the Outdoor Programs Building.
5:00 pm Scavenger Hunt Fun. Find items and information throughout the village. Prizes awarded. Meet in the Game Room.
6:30 pm Kids Softball Game. Meet at the softball field for a friendly game of evening softball.

7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Fontana Lake Sunset Cruise. Call ahead to reserve a spot at the Marina and meet before 7:30pm at the Marina to go on this tour of Fontana Lake at sunset to see some beautiful panoramas of the Smoky Mountains. Cost is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children 12 and under.
8:00 pm Karaoke. Come share your talents with the village on the porch of the Wildwood Grill.
9:00 pm Campfire and Marshmallow Roast. Meet at the Gunter Log Cabin fire pit for stories of the day's adventures while you sit around a relaxing fire.

9:00 - 10:00 am Yoga Classes. Work at your own pace to Relax, Renew, Rejuvenate your body and mind. Newcomers are welcome to come and learn yoga postures and guided relaxation. $5.00 per person, payable at class. Meet in the Fitness Center in the Lodge.
10:30 am - 1:00 pm - Jewelry Class - Enjoy learning to make jewelry with Claudia - All ages welcome. Elastic Bead Bracelets for Children - $5.00. Gemstone Jewelry - $10 to $20. Swarovski Pearl and Crystal Jewelry - $15 to $25. Meet at the Outdoor Programs Building next to the Game Room.
11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Hike “Twenty-Mile Ranger Station” Meet at the Gunter cabin to carpool to “Twenty-Mile Ranger Station” to go on a 4-6 mile hike while looking for signs of native plants as well as wildlife.

7:00 pm - 10:30 pm Live Music. ‘Jay Matthey Band’ will be playing on stage in front of the Wildwood Grill. The band consists of Lemonade Records recording artist from Charlotte, NC playing a Indie-Rock blend of music influenced by the sounds of John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews Band and Eric Clapton.
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Fontana Lake Sunset Cruise. Call ahead to reserve a spot at the Marina and meet before 7:30pm at the Marina to go on this tour of Fontana Lake at sunset to see some beautiful panoramas of the Smoky Mountains. Cost is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children 12 and under.
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Ghost Tour. During the construction of Fontana Dam, Fontana Village had a hospital that was quite busy. Hear some of the stories of what happened in that hospital and how they relate to strange occurrences of today. Meet at the Gunter Log Cabin for this 1-2 mile walking tour. Be sure to bring a flashlight.

The Fontana Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving mountain culture, and will be conducting a fundraiser for restoration of the Gunter Log Cabin. Be sure to visit their tents in the village center for sno-cones, funnel cakes, sparklers & pop it’s, glo sticks, tee shirts, and more. They will also be raffling a painting of the Gunter Cabin done on a wood frame window from a 1940's Fontana cabin.
