Marina

Fontana Village Marina, on the shores of the 10,230 acre Fontana Lake with 238 miles of shoreline, sets between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Nantahala National Forest in a protected harbor. Come catch your limit on one of the Appalachian's most beautiful mountain lakes.

The Marina has a full line of watercraft rentals including jet skis, pontoon boats, ski and jon boats, canoes and kayaks.

Shuttle services by pontoon boat are available for hikers and trout fishermen wanting to explore Eagle Creek, Hazel Creek, or any of the North Shore of Fontana lake which is the Southern Boundary of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Pick-up and drop-off services are available.

The ship store is stocked with everything one needs for a day on the lake. Additional groceries and stock items are available at the General Store & Hazel Creek Outfitters located in Fontana Village Resort just one mile up from the Marina on Hwy. 28 North.


Up for a fishing challenge?  

Smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass are plentiful in Fontana Lake and spring is the best time to catch them.  Fontana's April 10th Bass Classic Fishing Tournament brings fisherman from throughout the southeast.  Prize payout is $5,000; entry fee $150 per boat.   For tournament details, check the Events section or call the Marina at (828) 498-2129.
