For the day tripper we are conveniently located within distance of the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center, Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, rafting on the Nantahala River, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Also nearby is the Tail of the Dragon on US 129, the challenging Moonshiner 28 that saddles up for twenty-two miles along Fontana Lake, and the Cherohala Skyway, a fifty mile ridgeline dream ride.
