FHS Hike (Yellow Creek to Fontana A.T. Crossing)

The FHC pre Christmas hike was of historic proportions. Once we reached Black Gum Gap, for the first time the sun exposed himself (sounds weird doesn't it.) Rick commented that it only happened because it was the first hike he didn't bring his sunglasses.
You can see what we hiked in the image. We began at Yellow Creek and ended at Fontana Marina.
The club wishes everyone a festive holiday season. We hope to see you next week for our hike from Stecoah Gap to Yellow Creek. The hike will be a great way to shed the Christmas weight!
Here's a little info on our January hike: January 5th Slickrock Creek/Ike Branch, January 12th Twentymile Loop, January 19 BMT (Cheoah Dam to Deals Gap), January 26 Shuckstack Tower.
