Following the Hiyak Festival I had the Spring Wildflowers Hike Week. Here's a group of hikers who came out to our 20 Mile Ranger Station Hike. The flowers were a little disappointing since we had a late cold front come through and kill a lot of plant, but we still saw plenty.
I put together an event here at Fontana Village called, "Hiyak: Another Dam Festival." One of our lectures was done by Tina Wesson, winner of Survivor: The Australian Outback. I will be working with her a bit this summer with special event we have going on in the Village.
It was nice to get a picture of my dad and I with her since we enjoyed that season of Survivor.
The bunny visited us for Easter. It actually woke Pence up. We thought she would freak out, but she didn't. Pence described the bunny to every one as "the bunny's tall like Daddy." Go figure.
Yes it has been a long time since a post. Let's see I guess I never mentioned that my wife and are are having another child. We found out around last Autumn. The picture above was from Pence's birthday at our house. She really enjoyed the trick candles. I guess she has a big surprise coming once we have our second girl.
