Join us for two extraordinary evenings with Jory Fleming—geographer, educator, writer, and passionate firefly researcher.
Jory is broadly trained in environmental change and management and has spent the last decade volunteering at Congaree National Park, where much of his work has focused on fireflies and their fascinating ecosystems, making him a uniquely engaging voice for this special event.
With a deep love for the natural world—and a special passion for birds and bugs—Jory brings both scientific insight and contagious enthusiasm to the magic of synchronous fireflies. Guests attending May 29 and 30 will have the rare opportunity to learn from someone who has dedicated years to studying them.
